Buyer Questions:

How do I get in early?  If you are not a seller, volunteer or registered first time mom, you may donate $5 cash to missions on opening morning to enter 1 hour prior to the public. (Public sale begins at 9:30am on opening morning.  See * below for restrictions.)

How often do you have these sales?  Our events are held in Feb/March and July/August of each year.

Are children allowed on opening day?  Yes,  No strollers are permitted prior to 11am on the first public sale date.

Are the sales located indoors?:  Yes and No.  :)  The majority of our merchandise is located in air-conditioned/heated buildings, however some locations have the baby equipment, furniture and other large items located in a outside covered area.

Are there any parking fees or entrance fees during the Public Sale?  No.

What forms of payment do you accept?  We accept Cash, debit ($1 fee), MasterCard and Visa ($2 fee)

What is your return policy?  All sales are final with no returns.

How large are your sales? Woodstock/Acworth -  400 Consignors,  Cobb Fairgrounds - 600 consignors,  Mt Paran North - 400 consignors, Roswell - 300 Consignors

Can we "try on" the clothing?  Sorry, but no.  We suggest measuring your child's current clothes at home (inseam, length, waist etc).  Most shoppers then bring a tape measure to check for the correct size.

What items do you sell?  Girl's clothing infant thru teen, Boy's clothing infant thru size 20, Maternity, Toys, Outside and Inside play equipment,  Linens and Bedding, Shoes, Bedroom Decor, Baby Equipment, Books, Bikes, DVDs, or anything else to do with kids!

Are the sales seasonal for clothing?  Yes.  Spring/summer clothing is sold in our February/March sales.  Fall/winter clothing is sold in  our July/August sales.

Who runs the sales?  All 4 Kids is a privately owned company that has been running children's consignment sales for 20 years.  When organizing a sale at Mt. Paran North, the church receives a portion of the proceeds.

Seller Questions:

Who can consign their items and become a seller?  Anyone can consign their children’s item with All 4 Kids.

What percentage of the sales do I receive?  Sellers receive 70% of their sales less a $10.00 selling fee.  Sellers can earn 80% on the first $500 in sales by volunteering for 4 shifts and they get to shop the presale first!

What percentage of my items can I expect to sell?  Most sellers sell approximately 75% of their items in sizes 2-10.  For sizes under 24 months the percentage drops due to the sheer volume of merchandise received.  People also tend to receive infant clothing as gifts, hand me downs etc.  The older sizes also will sell a lower percentage as children become pickier as they near the pre-teen years and there is no way to try clothes on.

When do I pick up my unsold items?  Unsold items are to be picked up on the  Saturday of the sale closing.  See seller link for exact times.  All items not picked up at that time will automatically be donated. We apologize, however no exceptions can be made to this policy.

Do I have to sort through the racks to find my unsold items?  No, when you pick up your unsold items, your items will already be sorted into your Master ID# for easy pickup.

How long does it take to receive my earnings? All 4 Kids uses direct deposit for our sellers so there are no lost checks and no waiting! Funds are sent within 24 hours of sale closing and are deposited into your account within 1 to 4 days depending upon your bank.

Will I know what items have sold?  Yes!  Every seller can print a report online that lists which items have sold, been donated or are ready for pickup on Saturday.  Sellers can also view their sales online each evening.

Where do I find safety pins/coat hangers?  Many dry cleaners will give you a modest amount for free or at a reduce price.  Try sending a Facebook message or post on your local Freecycle website.   Old Navy, $1 stores,  Walmart.

If I consign my items, do I have to stay during the sale?  No.  Consignors drop off their items and come back on Saturday evening to pick up their unsold items.

How many items can I bring into sell?  Each seller may sell up to 375 items per seller ID#.  If you have over 375 items, please use the "Contact Us" link to discuss options.

What kind of hangers can I use?  We prefer wire or plastic thru size 5 with wire hangers only on sizes 5 and above. (no pant, clip or premee hangers please)

What color cardstock can I use?  Any solid, light colored cardstock.  The darker colors will not scan.

Volunteer Questions:

Can anyone sign up as a volunteer and attend the volunteer preview sale?  Yes, anyone may sign up to volunteer on a first come/first serve basis.

Can I volunteer for more than one shift?  Yes, many people volunteer for two shifts and either receive an extra preview ticket for a spouse/friend OR enter at an earlier presale time depending upon how many shifts you volunteer.

How long are the shifts?  4 1/2 Hours

Do you provide childcare for volunteers? Unfortunately, for insurance reasons we are unable to offer childcare.

I'm pregnant or have a medical condition?  If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, you will want to volunteer on Friday afternoons when the workload is less.  We also have several "sitting down" security positions available on Fri and Sat mornings.   If you need these positions, please email us with your request after registering and we will try to accommodate.

Can I bring my children with me to volunteer?  Sorry, but only children over 10 may accompany you while you volunteer.

Can I cancel my shift?  If a volunteer needs to cancel their shift, they may cancel up to 14 days prior their shift without penalty.  We ask each volunteer to find a backup worker in case of last minute emergencies.  If they cancel within 14 days of their shift without a replacement, they will be asked to volunteer for an extra penalty shift if they would like to attend the volunteer preview sale in the future.

Do I need to bring food during my shift(s)?  We will provide light snacks and water during your shift.  If you are volunteering for two back to back shifts, we ask that  you bring a meal from home.

Where should I park?  Please only park in the customer parking lot.  If you are also a seller checking in your clothes, you can move your car to the seller drop off area for drop-off, returning to the customer parking lot after drop off.

Where should I store my belongings?  We do not have a secure room to hold volunteer belongings such as purses, bags etc.  We ask instead that  you either leave these items at home or consider putting them in your trunk for safe keeping.

Preview Sale Questions:

Who is allowed to shop at the preview sale?  Only volunteers, consignors and first time moms are able to shop at the preview sale before opening day.  (See links above for staggered admittance times and dates)

Can I bring my husband/wife/relative with me to the preview sale?  No.  Each volunteer and seller is given 1 ticket, for 1 person to enter the preview sale.  First Time Moms attending the First Time Moms presale at the latest presale time, may bring along a parent and one guest to help them shop!

Can I bring a stroller, wagon or rolling rack to the preview sale?  Sorry, but we don’t have room.  We recommend instead that shoppers bring a laundry basket with a rope attached for pulling your “bargains” behind you.  Upright, wheeled laundry baskets are also great!.

Are children allowed at the preview sale?  Only children 10 yrs and older are allowed at the preview sale and they must stay with their parent at all times.   This includes no infants/babies in front carriers etc. (If your 10-18 year old worked a shift with you, they may shop independently.)
